James Goldsmith is the Careers Lead and Vice Principal at the school.
Independent careers guidance is delivered by Hilary Pether, Careers Advisor at Avonbourne Academy.
All students are able to access this support with specific focus on students who are at imminent points of transition at school i.e. year 11 and 13 students.
The careers advisor works from the career's hub at the school a space that is centrally located for students to seek out support.
If you wish to make a careers appointment, please contact hilary.pether@avonbourneacademy.org.uk.
The impact of the careers programme is regularly assessed by post-activity feedback as well as end-of-year surveys or focus groups. The careers team value student feedback and strive to implement student suggestions in planning of future activities. The impact of our careers programme is further measured through the destination data for both post-16 and post-18 destinations.
