Class of 2027 - Reopening Letter (start date, time and location)

Please see the below letters about the reopening of Avonboune Academy and the start date, time and location for Year 7.

The July letter was sent home personalised for each student. If you have not received this please do not worry we will have all details of students tutor groups on their first day and will be able to direct them.

Please also make sure you have watched Miss Barr's summer assembly video below which will give further details.

***UPDATE ON BUSES***

Services 46 and 81 will start operation from Monday 7^th September 2020.

Yellow Buses have also been working with the Council over possible overloadings with social distancing.  They have agreed to fund a duplicate vehicle for the 33 am and pm.  This will also start on Monday 7^th September.

Character Passport

During this unique situation we wanted to be able to support your understanding of our character education at Avonbourne Academy. Please read the below letter.

Our ‘Year 6 Transition Character Passport’ introduces you to our five REACH values that we aspire for each student to display and act upon in their daily life. We have creative challenges for you to take part in, chances for you to take on an important role within your household to support your family and inspiring videos for you to watch and reflect upon. 

Please download and print the passport and try and complete some of the activities. We can't wait to see how you get on!
